I am a 51 years old woman and have tried different kinds of makeup. For years I wore none because I hate the fake look. I found Bare Escentuals about 6 years ago and have never looked back. I also use a primer by Laura Geller for the face, eyes etc to keep the make up lasting all day..Bare Escentuals has given my face just enough glow to make me look alive and healthy. It takes very little so lasts forever. For my eyes, which are green, I use a light color shadow just to enhance and bring out the color. I have also gotten my granddaughter started on Bare Escentuals as she has a slight case of acne and it covers and helps heal that as well. First and for most, start with a clean face, I use either Philosophy cleanser or oil of olay cleaner pads, you can never start to you..Always remember less is more! I hope this helps. I saw many others who recommended Bare Escentuals, just make sure you get it from a good source. QVC,Bare Escentual.com, Ebay has a massive amounts of the product, just beware of those selling samples for outrageous prices. If you go to the Saloon, Leslie(the owner and manufacturer of BE)even says it is much more expensive..Good luck to you.
I also get compliments on my skin, not on my makeup which is how you want if.

I am an independant beauty consultant with Mary Kay. Our product goes on very smooth and very light. But the most important part of looking natural is having healthy skin. Why settle for a mask that will make you "look" like you have youthful skin, when you can actually have youthful skin well into your 70's. On that note, I would suggest trying our Timewise skin care line. It is designed to enhance the "youthful" look in your skin. I could send you a free sample if you like.

I've found covergirl to be light, natural and longlasting. It's a great cheap alternative to some of the other brands. I've found that maybelline works pretty well too. But keep in mind: LESS IS MORE! Too many women forget that! Thats what REALLY makes you look natural.

I like Avon's Beyond color foundation they now have it in a mousse but they have some for every skin type and color. It smooths out lines wrinkles covers up age spots, blemishes, and skin imperfections.
