I'll tell you a story about Talk Talk. My boyfriend and I lived in a South African sharehouse. There was a phone line in the house, but it didn't allow us to make outside calls, only to toll free numbers. Shortly after opening our bank accounts in the UK through an agency my boyfriend received a phone bill from Talk Talk in his name registered to the phone number in our house. We had never even heard of Talk Talk, but now we owed them £50 worth in calls!!! Some how... illegally as my boyfriend did not sign and authorise any direct debits from his accounts.. Talk Talk has signed up our home number to his account. We right out refused to pay the bill, they threatened us with court action, but seeing as they had no signed proof for a direct debit their argument fell flat, and the dropped it. I wouldn't sign up to Talk Talk for love nor money, so watch out for them!

i been with talktalk 2 months now, my phone bill is about the same as BT, my broadband has lost connection once (was several times a day with AOL), there was no charge for my modem, I have not had to call customer services yet, best of all its free as promised, no complaints !

No I haven't. But I saw a report about it on Watchdog and was appalled. For anyone who has though, you have my sincerest sympathy.
