perhaps a good yellow not bright yellow and not too light for a shirt. And a White or cream
color tie. or you might do the other way around
the latter for shirt and the first for tie. You could go with the traditional white shirt and red or burgundy tie for black suit! When I see someone in a black suit: I think oh He/She couldn't decide on colour so went with black. Same thinking applies with white! Note I'm not
really a fashion designer. I'm closer to an Interior Decorator but I'm not that either. I did store displays for Kmart, Chapples, Loblaws, Sears, Macleods. The Rock Hut. The Coop.

Baby pink with a silver tie (or black). It's gives a nice effect and the pink is kind of unusual yet exciting. Plus, it's not that common. White shirt with lilac tie also is nice. Yes, these seem like very effeminite colours, but they actually look very distinguished.
If all else fails, go to the tailor's, or Moore's, if you know what that is.

Black shirt with a black silk tie looks really cool, but for something a bit more conservative try grays. Just don't use the white shirt/black tie combination.

I think a nice light blue shirt underneath would look good. But with ties? I'm not sure, that's a hard one, always the classic white shirt underneath and black tie would look good. Check out mail male catalogs for how those men dress, good luck!

That's the beauty of black...it goes with everything! The only colors I *don't* think go well with black are yellows and oranges. My fiance wore a pale yellow dress shirt w/ a black suit once and it was really hard to look at!

i suggest dark red shirt and black tie ( gives it the devilish look)
oh well depends on the ocassion as well. If it's fro pleasure, the red is a great choice; if it's for bussines, go grey or white
