I have the option to pick any time during the workday. Assuming you're getting up at a normal hour 7-8 am, is there a time that the body and mind is most alert and performing at its best according to age-old practice or scientific research. If unknown, what time of the day have experienced the test takers out there had the most success with?

For me the best time to take a test is first thing in the morning, before something else causes a distraction that can lower my performance.

Usually people perform better in the morning, due to they are more relaxed and feel they have more time to complete the test.

It depends on what kind of person you are. Pick the time of day that you are most alert. Mine is in mid-afternoon, but for other people it's early in the morning, and for others, it's later.
