The President allowed counteless people to suffer for four days follwin the hurricanes that hit the Gulf Coast. Why hasn't there been outrage? These people were right in America, not in a third world country. Why did they suffer for four days on their rooves without help? why the delayed response? do you think he would have allowed that to happen to his family? President Clinton was wrong for recieveing oral sex but Bush Jr. failed to protect his people and countless lives were lost.

the President had 48 hours in which he knew levees would be breached and people would die but he didn't help them. there were more than one hundred school buses that were flooded during the storm. Is 2 days enough to get gas in those buses and get people out of there? yes, it is. Is sticking people in a football stadium for days on end without proper medical treatment acceptable? Absolutely not. People without vehicles or money did not choose to stay behind. They were abandoned by our government. There is no doubt that Louisiana residents were victims of a bad local government but it's the President's job to protect everyone. he did not do it. Additionally, his stupid mother went to the Astrodome and held up a sign saying "we (heart) black people". did they think it was a joke that these people were needlessly suffering? i wish it was you that had diabetes and no food or insulin on a roof for 4 days.

defending the current president by pointing out clinton's mistakes is stupid. if you were straving for four days with dead bodies floating by you knowing that the governement has endless amounts of resources and money, how would feel? Only you can't take yourself outside of your own life and realize their suffering. This is no tmy opinion it is a fact that the President allowed people to die and whether it is b/c he is racist or not he has failed as a president.

The president knew 48 hours before it happened that levees would breach and many people would die. He did not make the greatest attempt he could to save them. He did not use the hundred+ school buses that were flooded in the storm to get people out. He did not do everthing he could. A lot of these people were poor and had no vehicles. That is where the government is supposed to come in and help them out before they die. Did he use every single resource he could to save as many lives as possible? Absolutely not. the government has trillions of dollars and coould have easily evacuated Louisiana with the 2 days he had but he did not. Did people who had no vehicle choose to stay?

The only racist involved with Katrina was the "Chocolate City" mayor-Nagin. Unfortunately he and his fellow dem, governor Blanco were totally incompetent. Here is the unvarnished truth about Katrina. A hurricane hit the most crooked, ignorant, and backward state in the union. The city of New Orleans had known for decades that there was danger of flooding from a hurricane and they didn't fix the problem. They knew for 4 days a hurricane would hit and they didn't evacuate. The had thousands of school buses they could use and they didn't. Their police looted and cut and ran, some of their citizens shot at potential rescuers or aid workers. The only outrage is how stupid and incompetent the state and many of it's citizens are.

This is possibly one of the most idiotic questions I've seen.
You presume that a hurricane is a legitimate federal concern in the first place. It is not. If you want to refute that, please cite the section of the Constitution that covers it.
You presume that the President is personally responsible for everything the agencies do or don't do, and has full knowledge of it all. Get a clue. That's why the agencies were created in the first place, the federal government is doing far more than any one man can know about and directly control.
You show total ignorance by bringing up Clinton and oral sex. He was impeached for Perjury and Obstruction of Justice. No one cares now, nor did they care much then about the specifics of the matter he lied about. It was a question material to a lawsuit in which he was a defendant, the judge specifically ordered it answered under oath, and the answer was false, and Clinton knew it was false. That's Perjury.
Your explanations show that you don't really want answers, you're just a moron by choice.

Why is it that blacks in Mississippi, Alabama, and outside of Louisiana were able to get assistance? It was not a racism issue, but a local government issue. The governor of a state must ask for federal assistance in an emergency. The governors of Texas, Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida did so without hesitation. The governor of Louisiana hesitated.
The people who suffered did so due to a failure of local government to get out of the way of the federal government, and because posse com. laws will not allow the president to act in situations like this. I am certain that if Bush had acted to alleviate the suffering at the hands of violating the posse laws, you would now be crying for his head for those legal violations.
Besides, I love the way people just totally forget about the Mississippi flood in the 90's and the total devastation and failure of FEMA under Bill's watch as well.

President Clinton was also wrong to PERJURE himself and solicit perjury from and/or intimidate witnesses, which is worse than getting head on company time. The Federal Govt is NOT the first responder to a disaster. The STATE and LOCAL govt need to respond first. The incompetency of local government should be held responsible--as well as the corruption and misappropriation of funds continuing. However, I do think Bush should have had Nagin shot for failure to protect his people and taken over.

Are you just stupid.
Did you not see ever last chopper that could fly was out there working.
You must not live on the south east. I do and I have seen many hurricanes. It all ways takes 3 to 5 days for the feds to come in. If you stay YOU not any other person must keep you alive until then. Just were was the local fire police and EMS. Here we all come to the aide of each other.
That you saw in New Orleans was years of the left running things.

Racism? Racism is showing favor to one group of people over another based on ethnicity. Correct me if I'm wrong, but weren't their white people in New Orleans during the flood too? I thought so.
However, I do agree that racism does exist in the United States today. Here are some examples:
- Ms. Black USA Beauty Pagent
- Black Bike Week (Myrtle Beach, SC)
- Congressional Black Caucus
- United ***** College Fund
...and too many more to name.
Yes, unfortunately, racism is still alive and well in America.

If we follow your logic then we need to arrest Ray nagin and Gov Blanco and all the politician in Louisiana. If you will recall (which I do) the rescue efforts finally began after we took the authority away from the inept morons in Louisiana. So there are no grounds of racism that you could use, when in fact the President was the one that saved them. He should be lauded.
Oh and by the way, over 50% of lives lost were white.

Never explain with racism what can adequately be explained by incompetence. A President should only be impeached for High Crimes involving abuse of his power. You know, like warrantless wiretaps, ignoring the law, undermining Checks & Balances. Also starting an unnecessary and disastrous war.

get your facts straight - the first errors began within the city(the mayor even moved his own family out of the state), then with their own governor......each state is responsible for the care of their own people FIRST then the federal government can step in.....Bush is not the only one who made the decision to move or not move - his actions have to be approved by those who control the cash - perhaps you should start back with your own democrats before pointing fingers!
the people in that area were advised for days to prepare and leave - those who stayed regardless had to contend with what was left after the storm for noone could predict what the outcome of that forthcoming hurricane would be -
sometimes common sense should overrule yaking.....
protect you and yours - it is called selfdefense and self reliance!

It cannot be proved that the people in N.O. weren't helped because they were black as opposed to the fact the government didnt' have the ability to help. Is it racism or incompetence?
