If the Dems do win both houses they will make priority #1
getting the pork to pay the bill for regaining power.
Impeaching Bush /Cheney will probably be a close second,
perhaps starting in March.

January will be when the new congress is sworn in. The Impeachment and removal of the president will start the same month.

I don't imagine the Democratic House or Senate will work over Christmas. When they return to Congress I'm sure they're going to have a lot of house cleaning to do but someone will be laying the groundwork on the frist day back you can bet.
