Sims 2 Family Fun Stuff, need help with something??

Question

I downloaded some stuff for my games, eyes and some hair.. I used to have a lot of stuff in my sims but I don't remember where to put it.. Do I put the stuff in the original sims 2 folder or do I put it in family fun stuff?? What exact folder do I put it in?? It doesn't have any folders for skins or anything... Plz help! Thanks!

Put it in:

My Documents
EA Games
Sims 2
Downloads

And wha-la! Thats where they go. But remember you have to unzip them if thier from another site besides www.thesims2.com !

you should have a download folder in the original sims 2 package. go into my documents and look for the ea games folder. open that folder and look for the downloads folder. If you cannot find it, create a new folder and name it downloads. all your downloads should go in there but make sure you have an extractor program such as winzip or winrar (both are free for a trial period). i recommend going to modthesims2 if you stiil are having problems with it. Membership to their site is free and worthwhile.

Don't put your downloads into your game file (Program Files / EA Games . . .) but put it into a SUBfolder (you may have to create one) in The Sims 2 folder under My Documents/ EA Games/ The Sims 2 / Downloads

Your sims, your downloads, their families, memories and all the stuff you are playing in your game is in the "My Documents" area. -at the same level as the Cameras, Collections, Config . . .
