I am currently in 3 classes and i need to withdraw from 2 classes..and a "w" is gonna appear on my transcript.. does it affect me? I'm planning to transfer from a community college to a university..

no. a "W" is neutral. doesn't hurt or help. You will have to re-take the classes if they are required though.

The Withdraws and any failing grades will not transfer to the senior college and that is the transcript employers will want to see. Depending on why you are withdrawing, you might want to consider other options first. If it is to avoid a failing grade do drop the class. Stay in it and get all the information you can so you are ahead of the game when you take it again. Remember that failing grades don't transfer to the senior college.

no not as long as u retake the class later. but ask ur advisor, might be different for different universities
