My husband got divorced in Reyville, LA. I need a copy of those divorce papers. Do I have to go over there to pick them up or is there a form I can fill up so they can send it here. I am living in Texas.

You mean Rayville in Richland Parish (county). Located in northeast corner of the state. I would contact the county clerk. Look it up online and go from there. Shouldn't be that difficult since it is public information. May be a small charge for copy.

Call the county courthouse where the divorce was filed and ask what you need to do to receive a copy of the divorce decree. Usually there's a short form that you'll need to fill out as well as small fee (usually anywhere from $10 to $50). It typically takes up to eight weeks to receive the decree once they receive your request.

Get his information and see if Reyville, LA has a circuit court access page. They will usually list all divorces. If you are looking for the full divorce decree, he will need to contact the court system (don't know if it was state or county that handled it) his divorce was granted in and request it. They will tell him what information they will need and what it will cost.

request them from the court house. use the internet under Superpages.com or use information. they probably will want you to send a check or money order for them.
