I recieved a phishing scam IM from a site claiming to be from Yahoo, which it obviously was not. I didnt give them any account information,however, I do want to show this site to Yahoo security team

Report it to the FCC. They will look into it and shut it down if it's not connected to Yahoo!. Unfortunately- contacting Yahoo! is difficult to do unless you're a paying customer of theirs.

Good job catching the phony! That happened to me with PayPal! The email said I had to reset my password. No way- no how- no can do!

Pffft. Like Yahoo cares. Yahoo doesn't do anything about that sort of stuff, unless it gets into the media. Yahoo just makes these programs and sites, services, etc, and then they just leave em to the public while they rake in the cash. Services like Yahoo! Chat have become a DUMP and an embarassment because Yahoo dosen't mointor those things anymore.
