I have a 40g hard drive and looking to upgrade, i looked on the dell website for upgrades but all they have were external hard drives. I have an external hard drive already. I am looking for internal, could i find any dell internal hard drives somewhere else? I looked on ebay, and that was no help.

Just buy any regular 120GB hard drive (or larger) - it doesn't have to come from Dell. Is your existing drive IDE or SATA? Your replacement drive will need to be the same type.

As a side-note, you'll need a program like DriveCopy, Copy Commander or Ghost to migrate everything to your new drive...

Look inside your case to see if there's room for a 2nd internal. If so, then you can just go to any hardware supplier and get a compatible drive. doesn't have to be a Dell. In fact, when you open the case, you'll see the brand that Dell uses. Just buy a different model !

(check in your system information to see the type of drive you have).

you do not want a Dell confusing force purely a confusing force do not even think of dell makes confusing drives definitely dell purely get the computers together and then slap there call on the side . circulate to any computing device shop and purchase a western digital, maxtor just to call some . Even Wallmart have confusing drives and a few cases at a stable fee.additionally you will ought to locate out what style of confusing force you desire ,yet whilst your computing device is approximately 2 to 3 years previous maximum possibly any confusing force you come across in wallmart or such will in large condition ok. (tried to stay removed from the technical words for the confusing force like SATA,ATA,IDE....)
