Daniel Pipes says, the basic message is that because of Muslims' violent reaction, Islamic law rules over Westerners too "because you no longer have the privilege to say what you will about Islam, the Prophet, and the Qur'an."

Testing emigrating women for their beliefs:
According to the terms of the Hudaibyah peace treaty signed by the Prophet at Madina and the Quraishites at Macca, any Meccan man or woman Muslim or non Muslim, who fled to Madina seeking the Prophet's protection was to be sent back. Thankfully Islamic law doesn't rule over yahoo and this is one of the last bastions of free speech in the world.
People can be arrested in the UK for saying strong things against Islam under a disgraceful piece of legislation called the Incitement to Religious Hatred Act. Thankfully yahoo servers are located in the US so Brits can come on here and enjoy the freedoms America has to offer that have been taken away from us in our own country.

a) Technically, islamic law (shari'a) applies to Westerners only when they are in countries where it has been made into the law of the land (Saudi Arabia, parts of Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iran, Kenya, Nigeria are some of the countries where this does apply). In countries with separation of church and state, or where the dominant religion is not islam, its application is a matter of voluntary compliance, and by definition this matters only to muslims.

b) Problem is that the west is taking on a dhimmi mentality, where the local culture is regarded as tolerated and subservient to islam, so that the PC police and other bodies that regulate public speech repress any public manifestation of criticism or hostility towards islam.
