FAREWELL
TIME HAS GONE SO FAST
AND I THOUGHT THIS WOULD LAST
IF ONLY I CAN STOP THE TICKING
THEN I WOULD, SO YOU’LL NOT BE LEAVING
IT’S BEEN ONLY MONTHS, BUT FOR ME IT’S ETERNITY
THIS FRIENDSHIP THAT WE HAVE, I WISH FOR ITS CONTINUITY
THE LAUGHS AND WEEPINGS, THE GRIEF AND BLISS
ARE THE PRECIOUS THINGS THAT I WILL MISS
I’LL NEVER REGRET TAKING THIS PATH WITH YOU
AND I WILL NOT THINK TWICE TO START ANEW
I DON’T KNOW IF I CAN SURPASS THIS SADNESS
BUT I WILL FACE TOMORROW AND LIVE LIFE TO THE FULLEST.
IT SEEMS LIKE YESTERDAY, THAT EACH OF US SAID “HI!”
AND NOW, HERE COMES TODAY, THAT WE MUST SAY “GOODBYE!”
WE MIGHT NOT SEE EACH OTHER AGAIN
BUT GOD KNOWS, THIS IS NOT THE END.

I like it a lot ... I think every person can relate to this poem ... to me it's about losing a friend or having one move away ... !
I lost my BF in a car accident a few years ago ... and poems like this really made me feel better ... since I'm not very poetic myself ... it's nice to hear thoughts from a different person ... it's not easy expressing your feelings in words and not to mention you have to make it sound intelligent too ... keep it up ... you're writing will grow with you ... !
