Actually, it's not solely Joe's fault that the Yanks suck so badly. As far as I'm concerned, Cashman should be fired and George can fire himself.

What, why, and how? I so thought he was going to be let go and they were going to pick up Piniella...hmm. Oh well, I guess that's a good thing because I never thought he was a completely Horrible manager, and I think many people associate the Yankees with Joe Torre anyway. Besides, I want a chance at my team getting Piniella again :) The Mariners are my home team, by the way... have a nice day!

Actually I am happy. Joe Torre is a good baseball man, and is highly respected among all his peers.

I think that's great. I'm not a Yankees fan, but I think he's done a great job since he came to the team, and I don't think anyone else, ESPECIALLY Lou Pinella would've been able to do even half as much.

He's a good manager; the Yankees got what they deserved for overpaying for players and failing. Good pitching beats good hitting every day.

Doesn't matter either way. He's a good manager, and it's not his fault that his team underperformed in the playoffs. At the same time, there are others who could manage that team.
