i bought a optical logitech mouse and a couple of months later
it stopped working and i have tried to reinstall it.
but i think it is the mouse receiver.

It might be because of the batteries running flat. If that doesnt work check that the mouse and reciever are on the same channel(if there is a choice). If that doesnt work check the reciever still works.

Check the batteries. Make sure the receiver didn't get disconnected from the back of your computer.

Try a wired mouse. If that works, then replace your wireless mouse.

Take it to the store and try it with their receiver.
