Allowing the Supreme Court to interpret the Constitution and cancel any law it wants to establishes a dictatorship.
Representative government should be replaced by referenda as much as possible, which is a lot more than they want you to believe. Under representativism, which is unworkable and undemocratic, electing is not voting; it is giving up your right to vote on the issues to some pre-owned candidate.
Democratic values should be extended to the economy and social structure. Unions should be mandatory. In the social structure, no one should have the unearned competitive advantage of any monetary help from his parents. The right to inheritance must be abolished. Here, what is interpreted as non-political crushes even a good political system. It cannot be separated.

Similarly, what benefits the majority should be extended to the undemocratically separated structure of education. People who qualify for college should be paid a salary and free tuition to go there. The same for any job training. So as long as we have these sectors that benefit the aristocracy, politics is irrelevant.

Neither party seems to have the countries best interest at heart. The only goal the major parties have is to gain control of the country , regardless of the means or the interest of the country.. Its hard to figure out what if anything can or has been accomplished in Washington because all the mud slinging and name calling becomes the main topics of conversation and the media. Each party tries to do no more than dig up as much trash on the other to get ahead.Leaving this country vulnerable. Who really cares if a Republican is gay , we can't do anything to prevent 9/11, its already happened . Whose fault was it........ The terrorist fault ... Our government needs to grow up and start handling the business of this country,And I mean both the Democratic and Republican electives..

The major problem with the United States Political System, has a lot to do with the champagne strategies. We need to revamp the entire system as to the way elected officials are place into office. I would suggest a set amount of money to make it fair for the average Joe/Sally to run for office. Apparently the way things are structure, the best and brightest are left behind; due to fiance. Or elected officials are inundated with lobbyist with their special interest and its a huge distraction. It's time that officials, do the people's bidding, rather than special interest groups or lobbyist.

We are left with an obligation to study the issues and get the facts before we vote for our leaders. And then pay attention to whats going on to keep the crooks from taking over be it greed or lust. Lately it seems the lobbyists have too much of a foothold in Congress and this is not healthy for our nation. Problem is we get lazy and lose control of our leaders and they began to think we work for them instead of the other way around.

1.Far too many conservative republicans who aren't conservative at all!
2. Only two political parties that are less than a hair difference apart!
3.Refusal to permit other political parties to participate!
4.The fact that we have political parties in the first place!
5. Every important issue facing the populace should be voted upon directly by the populace, not by their so called representatives!
6. Who decides what are the important issues to put it to a referendum vote?
7.The electoral college-they only give you consent for their people to vote instead of you! And they have no requirements that they will adhere to party lines either!

Far and away the biggest problem is that politicians represent their partisan party rather than the people or employ them. Below that is that money has far too much influence on political action in our country. Politicians should not be paid beyond reimbursement of their expenses and the benifit of their public residence. revieving money when you're in office for any reason should be grounds for losing your citizenship.
