Fashion and accessories are a part of everyone’s life. Everyone wears clothing, and of course everyone chooses the clothing they prefer over something they don’t.

Fashion is a way to express ones self. Since everyone judges someone by their looks at first what they wear plays an important role. Fashion is a way to show ones attitude and personality. It is a way to show your likes and dislikes. Not only that, but it also demonstrates what class you are in. (Middle class, poverty…ECT)

Sadly, it does have a negative affect. If one isn’t wearing the ‘hot’ style of the month, one can be teased, and even abused by others. In schools children are persecuted by others just because their family can’t afford something. And sadly, teachers and other faculty do nothing about it. (As you can guess, I was one of these children. I was teased because I came from a lower class family.)

Mainly my point is that fashion is a different type of art. It describes who you are by fabrics and colors. Accessories do the same as any shirt or pair of jeans. My thought is that accessories and clothing run hand in hand under the topic of fashion. Without accessories, an outfit can look uncompleted and boring. And without clothing…well you are just naked.

I think that fashion is a very personal thing. Everybody has their own sense of style, even if it's no real style at all. And whether you know it or not, you accessorize when you get dressed. Even choosing the right pair of shoes for the day is accessorizing. Something as simple as sandals or sneakers is making a fashion choice.

I think that most of the "trends" that come and go so fast are ugly, and no real people wear them in the world. I like the classics, and I buy what looks good on me. So I'm usually a little (or a lot) out of style, but at least I think I look good, and I'm not some fashion slave that dresses like her favorite model, movie star, or singer. And accessories are a must. I can't wear an outfit without thinking about what will look best to complete the look. Silver or gold jewelry, black or brown shoes, belt or no belt, etc...

I love to look nice, and I try to do so every chance I get, which isn't often as I am a stay at home mom :-)
