It's a cool looking object that has captured the heart of the young (and not so young) and it looks slick and handles well. Also, they are relatively easy to use and the wheel control on the Ipod is quite a new idea that works well.

I have both Ipod and Rio Karma. I love the itune software but I hate buying music from itune since some of them can only be played on Ipod. Music quality wise, Rio Karma is better than Ipod. Size wise Ipod is slimmer. I am waiting for the new version of widescreen Ipod to come out.

the iPod is so iconic because it's so cool and it can do a lot of good stuff! iPods will probably be remembered for years and years to come!

i luv my ipod, i have a 60gb hard drive to fill up as much music as my heart desires, i can put my video clips, movies, etc... and photos. kinda like a personal computer in my pocket.

its not that they are ironic its because the APPLE company started of so well making computers so they decided to have a go at making mp3s and everybody thought that they were going to be reliable and they were so everybody knows that they are fab mp3s so they go for them.
