YEP! If you ever get to GA don't get sick near McDonough. My brother was sick and in the Hospital 7 days. He was in extreme pain. I called the nurse 15 minutes after his meds were due to be given to him. She came wobbling in 20 minutes later with the attitude of an abused dog. She was not the only one. It seems the practice of this hospital to hire only non caring folks.

Also, don't forget about the Doctors who have the same don't give a crap education. My brothers Doctor came in and was in the room about 3 minutes and left. While he was still on my brothers floor I tried to ask him another question and his response was "I have already seen him today I will see him Tomorrow. He never returned our call, at least after we got the number from information. He did not want us to call him. He told the nurse if we want to talk to him we need to wait till he came back to see my brother.

I was a Medical Assistant as well as an ER tech. I know when I see a person ment to be in the medical profession and I can also spot a person in it for the money. Don't get intimidated, stand up when this happens, because every one has a BOSS! As well as a Board of Directors.

I almost lost my Mom because a Nurse(if you want to call her that) was lazy and slow!!!!! Mom was in the Hospital(bleeding), the Nurse came into room to get the "History" that took her a hour! She then waddled out of the room and said over her shoulder that she would be be in a "little bit". That "little bit" end-up being over an hour again! That's when I yelled for help! Mom had passed out while going to the bathroom.(This was do to lack of blood). They put her on a crash cart and took her to the I.C.U. She made it but it was close. No one even said they were sorry...

unfortunately it happens all the time, some nurses are there for the money and others are there for the people. My grandmother was very sick and she had a nurse who was just awful to her, i reported her to the charge nurse, these people are sick and they should be compassionate, sorry it happend to you

I did once...i was in soooo much pain after surgery, asked for my meds....i waited and waited...i got out of bed myself ...went down the hall...and there she sat....talking. I hope i see her again...ill show her what rude is
