The Jekyll & Hyde (pub) should give you a few surprises, especially if you can find the ladies room. If you are young and want to stay at High Street Hostel, they do free tours of the royal mile with lots of the same stories from the paid ghost tours (but no underground trip) and lots of good advice from the guide. You sound like the type that might enjoy getting with others for the Eerie Pub Tour as well. - For other truly unusual stuff, look for the shop on High Street near the Palace end that sells the occult items, stone necklaces, tarot cards, etc and ask the people working there.

Las Vegas ought to be unhappy it isn't the main weird. they attempt so difficult to be ... yet I visited a chum who lives there and it is especially the travellers that help the weirdness there. Locals avert the great casinos. Guanajato does have wonderful mummies, yet different than for that, the city is very welcoming to vacationers, not extraordinary. I extremely have been to approximately 25 international places and regarded for not-your-favourite-vacationer places. The maximum weird place I went to became: Luckenbach, Texas (approximately 50 miles west of Austin) it had a inhabitants of three for the time of the week (and a pair of of them have been canines), yet two hundred on weekends. in actuality, Luchenbach is a pub the place u . s . a . song events difficult. I heard additionally they have armadillo races. In Australia, utilising around the Nullabor is an adventure. It has the longest stretch of at contemporary street interior the international. while youcontinual at evening, you spot a motorbike coming in direction of you ... 40 minutes later, you recognize that there are 2 headlights, 20 minutes after that, you bypass the truck that became coming at 70 + miles/hr. they are approximately to open a golfing direction crossing 2 time zones and stretching 848 miles. If you want something weird you should try the horror tours. There are categories. I suggest you try the night visit to the graveyard and the witches tour. It's a nice experience and you learn thing about the town during the dark years (witch hanting and selling dead people to the university for experiments)

Some of the ghost walks are good, get into the old town for about 7.30 pm, there are a few to choose from, look for the black hart storytellers tour if they are still there

You could go to Mary King's Close in Edinburgh, I've never been so scared in all my life!
Its underground housing from the 16th century and it's really creepy.
