if the pregnancy is less than 49 days, you can have a medical termination. there are different regimens out there, one with ru486 and one with cytotec. they both are highly effective for an early pregnancy. you will need a few follow up visits however, to be sure you have passed the entire products of conceptions. some women will still need a d&c but the majority do not. if it is more than 49 days, you will need a suction evacuation-what is often referred to as a d&c. dont read too much into people telling you it will cause infertility-that is relatively rare unless you have had several d&c's. it is to your advantage to have the medical abortion if you are a candidate as you will probably not need a d&c thus avoiding the small risk of damaging your uterine lining. try planned parenthood if you are in the US. costs are about the same for the two procedures 350-500 US dollars, more or less

you would want to do the pill if time still pertains to it. I think u can only take it so many days after, but if you do the suction abortion, then there will be a chance that you may not be able to concieve later in life. Best thing to do next time is wear protection!!!!
