Although I've read there is no truth to it, I am convinced the full moon affects human behavior. More babies are born, more violent crimes happen, people bleed more freely. If the moon controls the tides, why wouldn't it have an effect our own bodies, made up mostly of water. I also believe when I see a ring around the moon that the weather will change. The culture I live in now believes a cold comes down your back, and most certainy will if you're ironing clothes. (Sounds like a good cop out to me).

I will not pick up a penny from the ground if it is not heads up.
I will not walk beneath a ladder leaning that leans against a wall.
I will not spin things on the dinner table or use a OUIJA board.
I will toss split salt over my left shoulder for good luck.
I am careful not to break mirrors.
I keep my wands and cauldrons and altar gear clean and free of all lingering spell remnants. I keep my living space free of negativity and evil spirits by burning sage or dragon's blood when I feel the need.

I always throw a pinch of spilled salt over my left shoulder and I always knock wood if I say something has never happened or won't happen.
Those are the only two I follow, the rest I blatantly ignore.

Um I would have to say if you spill salt you need to throw a pinch over your left shoulder or don't walk under a ladder!

If you clink glasses with someone at a table, everyone has to clink glasses, otherwise it's bad luck.
