As man evolved, aggression was necessary for survival. Also, as much as women don't like to admit it, they are attracted to aggressive men, especially during ovulation. Yes, its in the genes.

More than aggression it is the insecurity - fear of dieing, losing, which is innate in human being. The aggression is only an expression of these fear. To love is to dispel fear and thereby expression of aggression.
