oh Man! now you have come to the right place. You know what truley works the best is designate a day or two to sprinting hills, also i pull the weighted sled to improve your dive phase...its much better that the parashoot.
Also i cant stress this enough find yourself a good block coach, blocks blocks blocks, most people say thats way the race is won
and for your cool down in stead of two laps jump rope alternating speeds for like 10min straight.
Remenber the best speed is controlled speed and you trying to control something that can't be controled, and dom't tighten up on the last 30m of the race cuz by that time you should be at top speed don't lose it by being tight.
Good Luck let us all know how is goes, and remenber it takes time...nothing happens over night

Flexibility. This is always under-emphasized in speed work. You can put in all the drills you want, but yoga could really make a difference.
Core training with focus on your abs and trunk will help as well.

I am going to keep it brief. Drills are very important butt kicks, high knees, skipping side to side. A good warm up and cool down stretching your muscles.
** weight lifting helps strenthen your muscles.

Run faster . . .it's in your heart, not in your feet. This is how many records are broken.
