Yes, my third child was conceived while on the pill. I think it was still my human error. I had my second child on Sept 6, went back on the pill after the mandatory six month wait time March 6. Doctor told me to use extra protection for 3 months. June 6th. My Daughter was born the next February so I probably stopped using extra protection after the second month. Biggest problem is I did not know I was pregnant til I was 3 months along. So I had taken Birthcontrol while she ws in there. Thank the Lord she was healthy. A few minor problems but nothing serious.

Yes, I got pregnant while taking a low-hormone birth control pill. I was taking it due to having had high-blood pressure during my first pregnancy. No contraceptive is 100%. Even the higher dose birth control pills say they are only 98% effective. BTW, combining the pill with a condom makes the chance of pregnancy much lower and also reduces chance of HIV.

Yup, documentation shows that the pill is 99% effective in avoiding pregnancy, when you consider how many women take the pill, there are going to be pregnancies even on the pill.

Yes, I had been on the pill religiously for 3 years, I continued to have my periods, so I thought nothing was wrong.

I went to the doctor for a stomach bug, and found out I was 8wks and 5days pregnant.

Yes, my friend Jackie. She had a cold, took some panadol for it & got pregnant. The Dr. said the panadol could have neutralised the contaceptive effect.

Yes, I was taking them to regulate my periods and got pregnant with my daughter. After I had my daughter, they put me back on them and when she was 6 months old, I got pregnant again with my first son.
