I certainly would; I think we could all use a break (perhaps a permant break) from the glumness that happens and gets reported on (and gossiped about) on a daily basis. I might add, however, that I don't think such a show would survive long; it seems people like to hear mostly about bad things--they make for better news and easier storytelling.

No, because a lot of news that is important for the public to hear isn't necessarily good news...the world today isn't really a happy place, and even though we do need to escape from that at times, when it comes to news we should be informed of the bad as well as the good.
