5. Submit your manuscript.

6. Start your next book. It'll be a long wait before you hear back on the first one.

Check this website. This guy, Woody Young, has quite a number of books on the process. Two of them give listings and references of publishers, manuscript screening services, and most importantly, the introductory book takes you through the process.
