It's alright. Scientists are making environmental problems seem like a big deal, but I don't see anything wrong yet. Besides, even if the world is getting worse, we'll be long dead before the bad stuff starts to happen.

Depends on how you look at things. as Humans we should be able to adapt to just about anything. I'd be more worried about an Asteroid hitting, or some nut launching a Nuke than the environment...
as for "Global Warming" it's not real, what is happening now is called "Climate Change" Look at the Geological history... we are still on the way out of a major Ice Age, and a mini-Ice Age hit during what we call the "middle Ages" we're still warming up from that, so the temp is going higher...
yes we should take better care of the environment, but not because of any sudden danger, just because it's the right thing to do...
regulating car emission really won't do that much, considering that most of America's electricity comes from the burning of coal, and the environment damage made in the manufacture of those cars is higher than the output of any car currently on the road...
don't let the tree huggers fool you.

One clue to the state of our environment is evident in some of the lifeforms around us... look at frogs or toads in your surrounding environment if you watch them and they seem to have more frequent mutations then the state of the environment is bad. Frogs are sensitive to the environment and evolve or adapt to the changing environment more quickly than humans so therefore if the ecosystem they in habit is polluted they will suffer and show signs of that in mutations or diseases. I personally think that there may be pockets where the environment may still be decent but in general I think our environment is suffering from the effects of our waste, pollution and ever increasing demand on planet earth. I try to do my part, I am glad our local city has a recycling program with curb pick up so my glass, plastic, cans (tin and aluminum) and paper or cardboard aren't headed to the local landfill. I also try to be conscientious and not pollute the earth with chemicals, I try to not spray the yard for pests and bugs unless the situation is beyond help otherwise.
Another item I take as a clue that our environment is suffering is the effect on us as humans. For instance 10 years ago I couldn't name one person I knew that had cancer but now 10 years later I'd be happy if I personally only knew 10 people who'd had it.

The hippies and libs would have you believe we are on the eve of environmental failure. The ultra conservs think the enviroment is so resilient it can dish out whatever we give it. I think the truth lies somewhere in between. The truth is out there...and so is a lot of BS.

We're doing pretty good. If you ever walk outside, and can't pluck a pumpkin off of the ground in early-mid October, you should start worrying.
