I've seen some beds that have a padded fabric headboard. They look easy to make. Has anyone ever made one? Was it really as easy as it looks?

its extremely easy. you need cheap foam which you can tack on with gorilla glue then get fabric and buttons and using a very heavy weight stapler, you can tuft in where the buttons will go. lastly glue on or sew on those buttons. good luck.

very easy and nice fabirc can make a 30$ job look like a $600 headboard. Plus the extra padding is great when your having sex and your head keeps hitting it.

Yes get a piece of3/4 plywood or OMD cut out to the shape you want. Buy some batting or foam and the fabric you want to cover it with. Place the batting or foam and material on the wood and tighten and staple it on the backside.
