i think its pretty mingin but one of my tutors has been banging on about it, maybe im missing something...

I had to look up Ricardo Bofill and "mingin." I agree its not the prettiest stuff to look at, but you have to hand it to him for pulling off some of the things he has done with his architecture, and that is why he is considered great. He is probably respected for "thinking outside the box" with his outlandish designs.

I can tell you right now....This just went WAAAY over everyone's shrunken heads!
Italy is blessed to have his structures.... The man redefines architecture into something brand new and exciting!
I think of it as "ARTchitecture" because when he has had total influence on a project... It comes out looking like abstract sculpture...
....Sort of like another genius, Frank Ghery (did you see the film about him yet?...It's awesome!)

I hadn't heard of him before. But having viewed some of his work - see links below - I like it.

Some of it reminds me - to a point - of Antoni Gaudi's work (see 4th link.) I say, "to a point" because NOBODY is really "like" Gaudi.
