OK, find a babysitter for a night. Let your husband know that you have something very important to discuss and make sure that he understands that he HAS to be home by a certain hour. When he gets home, have a light supper ready so you can eat quick. Turn off everything thing in the house that makes one bit of noise. Then sit down close together and tell him just what you told us. Embellish it if you want, make it flowery or poetic. You'll have his undivided attention as soon as he knows you aren't mad at him about something. Be prepared for him to want to have sex with you because that is his way of expressing his feelings back to you. Don't look for very much conversation on his part unless he is exceptionally articulate. You've got the right spirit so go and have a great time.

Over a romantic dinner sit quietly with him and ask him what he wants the most out of your very special relationship. If that doesn't help you then try this it worked for me.
Write him a love letter. Nothing trashy or anything like that, but tell him exactly how you feel about him, and about how happy you are that he's with you, and how much he must love you since you have a child together. Just throw all that mushy stuff you feel for him when you look at him into a letter. works like a charm.

Congrats! Sounds like a very similar situation I was in. I've been with the same guy for the past eight years (and no we're not married) and we had a few years of rockiness but everything leveled off and we fell in love with each other again. Hell, we still act like we did when we first got together. My advice is to tell him how you feel, then show him how you feel.

I'm happy you guys worked everything out between the two of you. Just show him how much you care and love him. Thats all you really can do. If you like just add small little things here and there. Like a note or something in his lunch bag or his pocket.

The one thing you can do is that will have the most impact is to take time alone and say those exact words to him. Nothing else can really express how someone feels as much as when they look you in the eye and tell you straight from the heart how much they mean to you.

Tell him straight from the heart what you feel. You gave it on here from the heart now turn to him and give it to him from the heart. You can't go wrong in that ever. Do something you normally never do and then just look him straight in the eye and let the words flow from you heart n soul.

Take him out to dinner at a really nice restaraunt. Get him a really nice card and a small gift and let him know that he means the world to you.

Write it down in a short note and let your son scribble all over it with crayons! He'll love it.
