Yes, I can admit to that (blush!). I was hitting the unlock button on my keychain and nothing was happening. Then I realized it wasn't my car...I was two cars up. Silly me.
At my job we have a lot and a garage. They're about 5 blocks apart from each other. Was walking to the lot one evening. Someone was about 2 steps ahead of me. We got to the lot and she stopped, cursed out loud, turned around and said "I'm in the garage, not here."
I felt so bad. I offered her a ride to the garage but she declined.

Yes, I have. Back about 2 years ago, I went to Wal-Mart and I parked on the grocery side. I was in there about an hour or so, and when I came out, I couldn't find my car. I walked around for at least 15 minutes and then I got mad because I thought my ex had stolen my car; and then I almost cried because then i had the thought that someone had stolen it! And guess what I'd done? I'd came out on the wrong side of the store! I came out the GM side, not the grocery side. So my car was parked right where I had left it, and everyone was looking at me like I was crazy. lol

The better question is how many times a day do you forget. And yes i've gotten in another car by mistake and the guy in the drivers seat gave me a rather odd look.

I had bought a new camry last year and in the initial days I was riding it too much...late nights...
Once i forgot where I parked my car and was trying to remember when I spotted the car...walked upto it...and then trying to opne the door with the keys..but it wouldn't....then i gone wild and brought a keymaker guy and as he was unlocking the car a guy came and said it was his car...i argued with him saying its my car and when i noticed the number plate i..........suddenly appoligized him....i had abused him a lot so he gone too hot..after an hour he cooled down and I got a new door lock fixed and then walked the entire neighbourhood and when i found my car and the right vehicle number plate and since then I started parking at one place.......
So much for just forgetting where your car is...

Yes and yes. Then I look around to see if anyone noticed. Once I went out from work looking for my car forgetting that my husband was picking me up and my car wasn't even there. I kept hearing ths car with it's repetitous honking and, you guessed it, it was my husband. He has never let me forget it.

At this point in time, there are almost no cars that look like mine. I have a 1984 Ford Escort station wagon. There have been times when I have had trouble finding it among larger vehicles, but I haven't ever completely forgotten where it is.

WHY HAVE YOU SEEN MY CAR? I HAVE BEEN WANDERING AROUND THIS PARKING LOT LIKE FOR HOURS LOOKING FOR MY CAR. LOL.
OH YES I HAVE LOST MY CAR A FEW TIMES, BUT AFTER THAT I WOULD MAKE ALOT OF MENTAL NOTES AND A FEW OTHER TIMES I HAVE EVEN WRITTEN IT DOWN.
BUT THE BEST STORY IS WHEN MY MOTHER IN LAW WENT TO WAL MART AND PUT HER GROCERIES INTO HER VAN. SHE WENT TO RETURN THE CART AND WHEN SHE GOT BACK, HER VAN WAS GONE FROM THAT SPOT AND SHE FOUND IT SEVERAL SPACES DOWN. SHE NEVER DID GET THOSE GROCIES BACK.
