FAREWELL
TIME HAS GONE SO FAST
AND I THOUGHT THIS WOULD LAST
IF ONLY I CAN STOP THE TICKING
THEN I WOULD, SO YOU’LL NOT BE LEAVING
IT’S BEEN ONLY MONTHS, BUT FOR ME IT’S ETERNITY
THIS FRIENDSHIP THAT WE HAVE, I WISH FOR ITS CONTINUITY
THE LAUGHS AND WEEPINGS, THE GRIEF AND BLISS
ARE THE PRECIOUS THINGS THAT I WILL MISS
I’LL NEVER REGRET TAKING THIS PATH WITH YOU
AND I WILL NOT THINK TWICE TO START ANEW
I DON’T KNOW IF I CAN SURPASS THIS SADNESS
BUT I WILL FACE TOMORROW AND LIVE LIFE TO THE FULLEST.
IT SEEMS LIKE YESTERDAY, THAT EACH OF US SAID “HI!”
AND NOW, HERE COMES TODAY, THAT WE MUST SAY “GOODBYE!”
WE MIGHT NOT SEE EACH OTHER AGAIN
BUT GOD KNOWS, THIS IS NOT THE END.

Your words come from your heart. I recognize the pain and I know why you needed to express these feelings. So many of us have felt as you do now. It is a grief just as powerful as the death of a dear loved one.
The structure may need refining, I don't know much about that. I just know that your voice will be heard and hopefully that will help heal your heart.

for a 16-year old, this has lots of potential! like you, i just hope that not seeing each other wouldn't mean the end of what seems to be a beautiful friendship... go go girl!!!

it was pretty good! remember a good poem dosent have to rhyme to get the feeling across, i could understand your pain ,yet it seemed like a struggle to make the words rhyme. keep practicing GOOD JOB!!--good luck always
