This isn't a fall game, but our scouts are playing a "Balloon Battle Royal" tonight. You just put the kids in a circle, each with a ballon on a string tied to their ankle, and on que they try to stomp each other's balloons. The last one with a balloon that isn't popped wins. Once you lose your balloon, you leave the game. Hope this helps. I looked in all of my guides, and cannot find one "fall" game. I see plenty of activities, but no games.

Hope your not perverted pedophile!

Find the biggest leaf in the nearest park?

Pass the object (non sharp/non heavy) behind your back, sitting down and standing up. See how well the group improves on timing.

Learn alphabet backwards. ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ.
See who can name the highest/lowest/middle letter.

Maybe do a Stretch routine like they do in China before work or during work.

Mini Olympics!

View Willy Wonka movie and have discussion on the other actors consequences.

Autumn Games

Aren’t the yellow fields, apple orchards, snug backyards and leaf-laden parks calling out the sport in you ? It’s Autumn, and with the crisp air catching on, people feel all gingered up to plug in to some whoopee or some cool Autumn games. With just the right amount of warmth and cool keeping you comfortably wrapped, nothing can probably hold you from sampling the groovy Autumn games ! Young or old, busy bees or layabouts, playful or shy—everyone receives the get-up-and-go as the tender Autumn wind blankets Mother Nature in its childlike levity.

Autumn is a total fun-packed season with its big store of games, grubs and goodness. Maybe that’s one reason why the groovier events of the year fall in Fall—the whacky Halloween or the turkey-fun stuffed Thanksgiving ! Now, keeping aside the bigger reasons to go for a gambol, you can pep up your Autumn days just the same. So get ready for a game. Here’s some quirky Autumn games ideas to help you get started with your friends, family or beloved this Autumn:

* Apples abound in Autumn. So why not be game for some apple-picking fun ? Gather some real ones or create some apple shapes out of construction paper. Hide them at various corners of your house and ask the players to hunt and pick. The one with the most number of apples in his/ her kitty becomes the winner of this peachy Autumn game.
* Now this Autumn game can be modified a little to make another fun-game. Instead of hiding the apples, hang them in strings from the roof in such a way that it barely reaches the mouth of the contestants. Have their hands tied and ask them to pluck as many of the hanging delights with their mouths. Jumping is allowed for those who take part and laughing aloud allowed for those who get to treat themselves to this apple-plucking game.
* One of the most popular Autumn games is lapta, a ball game involving three heads. Two gets to stand facing each other with the third standing in the middle. The first two throw and catch a ball in such a way that the third gets hit. The third, however, tries to escape being hit by the ball.

Autumn Games

* If the indoors doesn’t excite you enough, go for some outdoor Autumn games. How about a pumpkin carving contest or a corn husking race ? Apart from building up the respective skills, these groovy Autumn games are sure to spell lots of thrill. And in the end, you may have some brilliant and exceedingly creative pumpkin faces staring at you or some neatly husked corn right before you.
* Now if you have a big party area or a fairly spacious backyard at your disposal, you can arrange for a pumpkin run-n-dodge game. In this game, all you have to do is scatter enough pumpkins and have the runners run from the grip of the chaser without touching any pumpkin. If anyone touches a pumpkin, other than the chaser, he/ she becomes the next chaser. If not anything, this particular Autumn game will keep the adrenalin flowing in leaps and bounds !
* Some Autumn games take into account the loads of straw and leaves lying here and there during this time of the year. Gathering these into a pile and jumping on them is a favorite with the kids. The bigger groups make it more interesting by hiding little nuts in the heap of straw and then venturing out to find the maximum number of nuts.
* A scarecrow or pumpkin dressing contest wouldn’t be a bad idea for Autumn games either, given the nearness of Halloween and the spooks doing the rounds by now. You may announce handsome prizes for the most scary scarecrow and the funniest looking pumpkin around.
* Pumpkin rolling games are yet another fun Autumn game. And simple too ! The players just need to roll the pumpkins with their feet and take them to the finish line in the shortest possible time and without changing lanes marked for the purpose. Kicking the pumpkins are, however, not allowed.

So much for games and gambol ! It’s time to take a reality check now ! Just choose your game this Autumn or create a groovier one yourself to keep the fun Fahrenheit always soaring. Remember, there’s no limit to being inventive with Autumn games and no penalties for going over-the-top whatsoever ! It’s just having fun that matters, not how. So be on the move buddy !
