In Pulp Fiction, does anyone have any idea what's in the briefcase?

It Wallace's soul. This is never explicitly said in the film or otherwise but there is symbolism in the film that lead to this conclusion.

1. There is band aid on the back of Wallace's head where his soul was extracted and is now going to be put back in.

2. everyone is in awe when they look inside the case and whatever is in there is glowing (thus disproving the cocaine or money theory)

it has to be something that glows and that a thief would want if he looked at it. A soul does not fit that desciption and neither does cocaine. It has to be easily transportable so gold is out of the question. The only logical choice is jewelry. It is light enough to care and if made out of gold and diamonds will glow when the case is opened just like a treasure chest. The question is why would the guys have the suitcase. the answer is they must have been doing a job for Marcellas to pay off their debt.

I don't think that there's supposed to be anything specific inside. I've heard in interviews and articles that I have read that Tarentino never intended anything to be in there. The actors who saw the contents of the briefcase were to act as if they had just seen something beautiful and awe-inspiring. Other than that I think it's not important to the plot. Just the fact that everybody wants it.
