California.
Beautiful seacoasts, snow capped mountains, deep green high alpine forests, progressive and diverse culture, San Francisco by the Bay, the Pacific Coast Highway, the redwood and giant Sequioa trees, the Pacific Crest Trail, Lake Tahoe, Squaw Valley and Heavenly Valley ski resorts, the wine country, the historic gold country, Bay Area back roads, hang gliding at Fort Funston, Mt. Tamalpais, Hat Creek and Lake McClure. Mount Shasta and Mount Whitney. I'm just getting started.
And I wish they offered me California girls.

I am from Tennessee. Lets see..... We have the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Beautiful anytime of year, but particularly now, while the leaves are changing. We also have Dollywood, Gatlynburg, Pigeon Forge, Memphis(Home of Elvis), Nashville(home of country music). We offer hospitality and kind hearted people. Tennessee is the home of the Krystal hamburger (some of you may know it as White Castle in the North). We have some of the best cooking and food you have ever tasted. So I would have to say Tennessee is the best. The only thing we dont have is a beach, so my second choice would have to be Alabama.
Oh yeah! We also have one of the best college football teams in the Southeast. GO VOLS!!!!

Virginia - you can find anything and everything here. Mountains to the beaches. Hot weather, cold weather, and everything in between! Races, (horse, boat, car...) relaxing B & B's, fishing, picnics at Yorktown, Williamsburg, Harrisonburg, Virginia Beach... you name it, we got it! Busch Gardens, WaterCountry, Kings Dominion...
"Virginia is for Lovers" (of many different things!)

North Carolina...It has the mountains and great beaches. It has little chance of weather phenomenom devastation as long as you are inland. And my cousins live there!
