You might want to take her to the doctor to get a blood test so you will know for sure. Or you can wait a week or two and try to test again.

Pregnancy tests are accurate in some form. I would wait another week to two weeks. EPT is a better test to buy over the counter. Now the only way to find out for sure is to go to the doctor and get her blood tested for pregnancy. Good luck

There are many many reasons for a woman to be late on her period. Regarding the proper use of the pregnancy test...I prefer to use a cup to urinate in. This is the cleanest and there is a lesser chance of urine getting all over the stick. You must have the stick laying flat or the urine will not absorb through the tip effectively. Then you just wait...it is possible to get false negatives, so I would wait a week and try again.

By getting the first urination of the day it is considered a "clean catch". There is no food waste that might affect the test. The very best way to get an ACCURATE test is to first check the expiration date on the test itself. Then pick one that hasn't sat on the shelf more than a week.

I would do it in the first. The first pee. That should help a bit. Always remember not all over the counter test are accurate. I like the blood test Idea.

Stress can cause missed periods.
Take another or go to the health dept. they do it.
Faint lines means you are preg. too, and wait the whole time it says before reading the results and make sure you place the test on a nice dry flat surface.

Make sure she takes it first thing in the morning, that is when the hormone levels will be at their highest.
The first is the best, your hormones lessen during the day. It is at the highest in the morning, because you sleep all night, and it has a chance to build up.
