The best way is to go to each of your creditors wearing a sign that says "I am bankrupt"
It helps if you have an appointment, actually you really must have an appointment.

I'm assuming that the UK has bankruptcy lawyers. If so, go to one, and he/she will help you start the process. Bring in all paperwork that may help you state your case. I hope you kept your receipts!
