I feel for you.....my all dang day sickness seemed to get worse in the 11-14 week...then it just stopped...completely..so there is something to look forward to...umm...if sipping Ice cold water doesnt work anymore...drink ice cold ginger ale..it really really settles your stomach...um also..in the mornings when you just wake up...munch on peanut butter crackers...that helps the sickness in the morning...during the day time..its better and keeps you from being sick if you eat a lot of little snacks rather than meals and yes ma'am if you dont want to eat you have to make yourself..I found out the hard way...not eating at all makes you dry heeve..and that sucks pretty bad too...so make sure you force feed yourself when you dont wanna eat..other wise its up chuck city worse lol...dont eat greasy foods...and every one says NO caffene (sp)...but hey....an ice cold fountain coke sometimes works to settle the tummy...dont drink sprite..it may be ok for you..but the second I put sprite in my mouth...even now (17 weeks) I automatically get sick...but the ginger ale, peanut butter crackers, coke and small non greasy snacks through out the day should help you out...also I would throw up soo bad my doc. prescribed my Phenegren ( pronounced fin-o-grin) it wouldnt hurt to ask about it....thats how I got thru the first part of it cuz I couldnt get my thumb on the problem...I only took a couple of pills to help me out..then I pretty much could control my sickness with food and drink...good luck and I feel for you...I absolutely HATE throwing up. Good luck again..and it wouldnt hurt to try some of my suggestions..they worked for me.

Ah...the great feeling of morning sickness... If you are saying everything is making you ill, then that is when you will need to get some type of medication from the dr. Each person uses different food to calm their stomach...what worked for me may not work for you. I would say if you get a craving for anything, even if it's not the most healthy food, you should eat it. Just so you have something in your system. And definitely take your prenatal vitamins.

I had this same issue with my 3rd child, that's why I though for sure it was going to be a girl, because I wasn't sick with my first two. Anyway I finally got dehydrated and my doctor prescribed me promethazine suppositories to take and that did the trick, however they made me extremely tired. Some women swear by gingersnap cookies but what made me feel better was keeping some oyster crackers next to my bed and eating a handful BEFORE I got up and walked around in the morning. It seemed like the walking around only made my sickness worse. Good luck to you.

Call your doctor and reschedule your app. it's not healthy for you or the baby and there is something you dr can do about that. He can first give you some kind of medication and if that doesn't work, or if you begin to lose weight instead of gian, he may want to to be observed in the hospital for a few days. When you call, make sure that you tell them you can't even drink fluids without gettig sick and that it is an all day thing. Good luck!

One thing that made me really sick like that was from taking my prenatal vitamin without food on my stomach already. So make sure you eat a piece of toast or something like that to keep that from being an issue. Another thing that helped me was cookies. They calmed my stomach (unfortunately made it a little bigger than I'd have liked though! lol) And if you start feeling sick get a piece of ice and put it on your throat and on the back of your neck. That helps alot!
Congrats on your little one and hope that nasty morning sickness gets better!

welcome to motherhood, your kids give you problems even before they are born..just kidding
well, my morning sickness started around 10 weeks, and i mean it was severe morning sickness...i actually could never vomit so it made the pain even worse....i eventually stopped eating and drinking..i lost 11 pounds in 1 week...i went to the doctor and they found Ketones and thats bad...
crackers, toast and all that junk dont really work...i actually found help in milkshakes...at first its hard to even drink a full one, but they have protein in them so thats an added bonus for you and the baby...
some doctors wont give you nausea pills and tell you to ride it out...but you may be lucky and find one that will give you the meds....
dont get discouraged if the doctor wont give you anything, most of us didnt get any pills to help us...it seems like a long hard road with morning sickness and it is..i literally felt like i was dying, i couldnt move or anything...
sometimes you have to stick it out and everyone finds their own way on how to help their morning sickness....but good luck, i feel for you

Well my advice to you is to tell your doctor to be very very watchful over you because you will more than likely have preclampsia your last month or so. I have many friends and family members that were sick the WHOLE nine months and all ended up having it. One of my friends always had to go to the doctor for fluids because she just couldnt keep anything down, but she now has a beautiful, onery 2 year old little boy. Good luck to you.

sip Sprite (it settles your stomach)....try eating dry toast and scrambled eggs. I know its hard but your going to have to force yourself until your Dr. can prescribe you something. Try sleeping later (this helped me) i didn't wake up till 11 or so and that got rid of some of my sick feeling. Make sure you are taking your vitamins.....that's all i can say. Hope I was help.

You probably need to eat. Try to get something in your stomach. I don't' care if it's broth of any kind. Your making yourself even sicker without eating anything. Try salty stuff, jello, ginger ale, and ginger snaps. I was the same way. Don't worry it should pass mine only lasted about 3 to 4 weeks. Good luck and Congrats! :-)
