If an animal was only eating an endangered plant. Then it's instincts would tell it to move on to a different type of plant when the numbers were getting low. just like if you ate pie all ur life and all of a sudden there were no pies left in the world you would move on to eating something else.

And what if that same digested plant inside that same animal was the medical cure to all our current diseases? That plant mixed with the saliva of that animal is the CURE!!
Probably will be sitting in some tubes at the Smithsonian Institution.
