Homer is my all-time favorite! I started watching this show when I was the same age as Lisa (7) and I kinda grew up with it, always seeing a bit of The Simpsons in my own family. Homer is hilarious - he just does and says like he feels!

God, I miss Phil Hartman.
Really, I can't pick a fave. How can I not love Ralph Wiggum -- "My nose makes its own bubble gum!"
Or Apu -- "Hello, I would like to take advantage of your baby prison."
Smithers, Bleeding Gums, Cletus and Brandine, Barney, Lenny and Carl (what exactly is their deal, anyway?) Fat Tony, Comic Book Guy, Skinner (aka Armin Tamzarian), etc.
Of course, that's part of what makes the show so great.
Still, I do miss Phil Hartman.
