That you are borrowing someone's... and therefore, you sort of have it but then again, you really don't?

Having it covered? Like a bra or shapewear.
Borrowing it? Like from a friend for a costume or something.
Having it, but you don't wear it? Like old exercise outfits that sits in the closet while you now wear cotton.

I really don't know, but those would be my guesses.
