get a spare i have down tire repair and we would not fix a tire that had fix a flat in it. besides some of that stuff is dangerous. it can even cause an explosion in the the right circumstances. this can hurt or kill the mechanic also the chemicals in the product makes the tire go soft and will tire failure I've had a tire that had the product in it an scooped out rubber with my fingers so just get a good spare and be safe

NO you need to get a spare. Go to a tire shop a lot of times you can get a good used spare for very little money 15 or 20 dollars. It will be way cheaper than getting a flat and having a tow truck or some kinda roadside service person fix it for you. Not to mention the fact that being a woman stranded on the side of the road isn't the safest thing in the world.

Get real. If you are driving your car you need a spare tire period. Think about being along side the road with a flat tire, no spare on a dark rainy night. Beside being an inconvienence it is down right dangerous.

fix a flat on small leaks only, and if directions are followed good. if going on a long trip, get a spare. if only like 100 miles, your good.
winters coming might as well get new tires, if already did, have who put them on fix the sealing problem. have tires broke down clean rims.

AAA membership is quite cheap. I had to have my car flat-bedded 96 miles from Payson back to Phoenix. With AAA Plus it was free up to 100 miles :-)

But tire wed is a good first line of defense - I carry some, as my Corvette has no spare & nowhere to really carry one.

It does work on small things, but if you hit something and have a major blow out you'll be in trouble. Why don't you hit your local junk yard and see about getting you a spare. You can usually pick on up for like 10 bucks. Its better to be safe than sorry.
