Yes! The outcome was heartache and pain and during it was always wishing for something different or better. Settling is a waste of time for everyone involved. So if you feel like you are settling. Get away as fast as you can. And don't settle again, so that when you look back you'll be happy with your decisions.

Well, I was accepted to some of the best technical universities in the nation (CalTech, Rice, MIT, Stanford), but settled for in-state for pecuniary reasons. I hate it, but I'm almost out with two B.S.'s and no debt because I got a full ride. So, I guess it will work out for the best, considering I'm lazy and don't want a job right away.

I've settled for girls before too, but they weren't serious enough for me to regret. Most experiences are good ones.

I think everyday we settle for something. I can't afford a Corvette so I settled for a Saturn. I can't date a Victoria's Secret Model so I chase the girl that works at Target. I can't afford a steak dinner everyday, so sometimes I just have a burger and fries.

Most of us drive what we can afford to drive, live where we can afford to live. We might want more, but we take what we have for now.

i settled with a man for 6 yrs. now i hav a man so gr8 i feel i dont deserve him and its the best feeling in the world. he also settled in his last relationship and we dont know what we've done to deserve each other. why did we put up with such pants relationships? but maybe its fate and we needed to go thro the rubbish to get to where we are now to appreciate it. settling has made its point with us. theres a reason for everything even if we dont know it at the time.

hahahaha Only the weak fat and ugly settle. Never stop striving for the best, opportunties arise and even if you are not with the 'ONE' now, keep fishing, plenty of others waiting.
