The Bulls probably had more caproom to work with than the
Pistons did, which allowed them to offer a bigger contract to
him. The Bulls offered him a four year deal worth around $60
million, while the Pistons' initial offer was four years at $49.6 million, which eventually became $51.8 million over four years.
Ben was disappointed with the Pistons offer, so he signed with
the Bulls.

There was an article in the paper over the weekend. He said that he clashed with the new coach, Flip Saunders and was upset that he was benched in the Miami game. He wanted to be a bigger part of the offense and apparently the coaches thought otherwise.

Yes, something happened!! Detroit or any other team didn't want to pay him except Chicago who I think was so dumb to pay a none offensive player that much money.

he could have stayed with detroit in the event that they could have paid him as much as chicago. it doesnt make experience that detroit could choose him back and could pay him a revenues that they concept replaced into too lots 2 years in the past while he replaced right into a extra suitable participant
