Few days back i read in The Times of India "take up one idea. Make that idea your life--- think of it, dream of it, live on it. let the brain , muscles, nerves, every part of your body, be full of that idea, and just leave every other idea alone. This is the way to success"--Swami Vivekananda

If you spend all your time waiting for something better....you might as well wait for the best...but how do you know if you've already rejected the best, waiting for something that might be better? I personally would give A LOT for the sake of my loved ones happiness. Follow you're heart otherwise you're likely to regret it. Do what you think would be best for you and your loved ones. Would I give up my dream for the happiness of my loved ones? Depends how big my dream is and how much happiness they'll get out of it. Mostly my dream IS to make others happy by working in a rehab center or working with children with special needs, and I don't see why giving up your dream no matter what it is, would make the ones you love happy. They should be happy that you achieve your dream not happy that you gave it up.but then again...I'm not sure exactly what you're referring to...so I can't really give much advice though I wish I could. But that's my theory anyway.

Depends upon whether or not one needs a reason to hold resentment against ones "dear ones".

If one believes in the concept of Fate Karma [and if one is wise, one does] then impulsively jumping into something is OK because it is destined to occur, and the results of doing so are also part of ones Fate Karma. Realize that there are two realities always paralleling one another. That which is actually happening, and what we think is happening. Quite often we think we made a mistake, but we are wrong. Not intended to be funny, but it is, isn't it?

Often we think because we chose to do something, and it doesn't work out [or so we believe] what we "believe" is just our MIND feeding our brain thoughts which serve to beat us up. While the other reality [our Fate Karma reality] is that all we needed to do was to meet and have short interchange with a few people, and then off we are supposed to go to the next adventure.

Belief in Fate Karma really does mellow out ones life. It helps one take life in a much more upbeat perspective. The fact that it is viewing life correctly is a plus.

Living ones life for others is always going to produce within oneself resentment... and this is dishonest and costly for oneself and for the others as well. Always best to do what one feels a need to do, and own the consequences as due one as part of ones Fate Karma. Forgiveness of oneself is easier and almost built into the process.

Peace

1. For taking any decision there will be a time. At that time of taking the decision, I select which ever is relatively better, As many pros and cons are hidden at that time ,I pray God and take a decision and treat that as the gift of God to me and to all those effected by it. Whatever comes later I will treat it as not mine even if it appears to be the best and won`t repent.
2.The criteria is to how many it is good especially to those who are helpless, in dare need, very poor, down trodden, deserving etc. Only by taking such decisions we get blessings of God and that will definitely give me and all my people real happiness.

Assuming that once we arrive at the destination, we're stuck there, I would wait for the perfect one. Although you have to be realistic about your definition of "perfect" because nothing in this world is truly perfect, so you just have to judge when something is "close enough."

While it is best to follow what your heart says, it may not be what your dear ones feel. In such circumstances, it is better to live for others.

Whose happiness matters more?? Yours or your dear ones?
The heart is best, if you care for yours.
The head is better, if you care for the dear ones more!

The best is the one which comes just after 'better' in quality, quantity, content, taste, color, and in all good attributes.

Follow your heart. Remember it's your life, no one else has to live it but you.
