With the engine running (at idle) listen very closely for a pronounced "hiss". If you can hear it, locate and repair it. If not, look very closely for disconnected or incorrectly positioned connectors or vacuum lines.
If there isn't anything obvious, It will be necessary to retrieve the DTCs from the PCM. With the codes in hand, go to the library or purchase a repair manual (available at the parts store or book store for < $20.00) and use the trouble trees listed for the codes. Remember that the codes refer to a failure or fault in a circuit or system, NOT NECESSARILY a component.
