What kind of records? I am not an attorney, BUT I have had to this before I went to the court house in the city of the incident and went to the clerks office and asked for the records department and they copied the file. They also have public access computers to do case name searches.Clerks can not give legal advice. Dont ask them,

If you need to for example, go to court soon and you want to suponea a person to be called in to court to testify, you might try getting in the forms line requesting a suponea and fill it out and file it with the court. Not sure on what your time limits are but time of service is usually pretty important. make sure you how many days you have to have someone serve them. You cant personaly serve the person you are suing. Someone over 18 not a party to the case. The required fees must be tendered to the witness upon service of a subpoena on behalf of a defendant.

Good luck but remember, there is an old but wise saying:

He who represents himself in court has a fool for client"
