well for a business having there employee multitask is cheaper I am sure.
and for a person who loves to stay busy or just a person who is tring to get things done in a hurry, well they would be the multitaskers, and yes it does screw things up unless they have been done those same multitask there hole life then they can't help but have created a routine of doing so.

I like that! I like that so much! Especially if one of your taskings affects the other in some way.
Are you a program or project manager???
But of course, multi-tasking refers to handling different tasks with great time management skills, effectively, using tools like cellphones, PDA's, email, whatever. If you lose your cell phone, in a lot of ways you're toast!

Not always. Just because you're multi-tasking doesn't mean you screw everything up. I can do it and not screw everything up; anything over 3 tasks does get messed up, though. lol Can't do more than 3.
