Honestly? Not sure. If even half the avatars were what the people looked like I'd be surprised. I really think avatars are what people wish they looked like.

Not many. My avatar looks like I did 15 years ago. Except for the hair and glasses which look like today.

I think most people do. It's kind of weird, people making avatars to look like themselves because they want to stay anonymous and not put a real photo on the net. Well, this is a likeness of me (with the limited choice yahoo has).

I'm thinking very few, because you can't change the facial features. I know mine looks NOTHING like me. Although I have seen some "plus-size" avatars, which is a step closer to actual customization.

Not me. But it is funny to create our avatars. If you want to know how this person really looks you can ask for a photo=)

The only one that I am sure about, is mine. I wouldn't really want to go back in time and be that young again, but it is fun to have my avatar represent me.

What's the point in having an avatar to look like you if it doesn't look like you?
I'm like mine!

Dear Yahoo Answers Community,
I must say when I was selecting my avatar I certainly had a problematical time discovering a body shape such as my own. Their simple were no pasty, generously proportioned, cottage cheese thighed bitches to pick from. I’m sorry I lied guys, please pardon my blooper.
Good day.

Hmm, I think probably around 20%. There really isn't a big variety of face shapes and stuff. Mine is fairly close though. The hair is pretty much exact.
